Boudoir is intimate, but it holds so much power. Booking your session can often be the hardest
part, and it’s completely normal. Boudoir is typically out of most people’s comfort zones!! You
might feel some nerves leading up to your session, but it’s my job to make sure you feel
confident and prepared for your pictures. These photos are something that will transform the
way you see yourself, and I cannot wait to guide you through this journey of self-love! So, with
that being said, here are three things that will help you feel ready to book your boudoir session!

Leave the Posing To Me

Whether you walk into your session with excitement or nerves, one thing you don’t have to stress over is how you’re going to pose. You don’t have to know exactly what you want or your
best angles; leave it to me to guide you through it. I will be next to you through your whole session, doing every pose with you to provide examples and offering small adjustments to ensure that your pictures turn out perfect!

Avoid Anything TIGHT On the Day of Your Session

Try to stay away from wearing tight things that might leave indentation marks on the day of your photos. This can be things like hair ties, watches, socks, and bras. While these marks can be
edited out, making these adjustments ahead of time keeps things easy for both of us, and it eliminates another stressor for you and helps avoid overthinking any lines that might be hanging
around. Loose-fitting clothing is the way to go leading up to your session, plus it’s always easiest to relax before if you’re wearing your comfiest clothes!

You Can Make ANYTHING Sexy!

Boudoir doesn’t have to be all lingerie; it’s about what makes you feel sexy and confident! The outfits that you choose for your session have a big impact on the way you feel, which carries over into how your photos turn out. Loving what you wear makes it much easier for you to love your results, so if you feel best in something cozy or casual, then we will make it work! The key is to select something that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and uniquely you.

Do you love lace and delicate details? Maybe a more traditional boudoir vibe is for you! Lean into different lingerie styles like a two-piece set or a teddy. You can even throw in some other lacey details like corsets, garters, stockings, or even a robe, which can be a great addition if you’re feeling a little nervous about getting in front of the camera. Is bold and edgy more your vibe? Don’t feel like you’re limited to more traditional options, you can opt for things like leather, bold colors, or textured fabrics.

in a new light, but together we can capture authentic and stunning images that show off your
style (and more!) Bring a variety of options to your session, just in case you change your mind
about an outfit, or get a confidence boost mid-shoot and want a more adventurous look. This
can be anything from sets, lace teddys, your favorite heels, or even your boo’s oversized shirt!
