Taylor + Ryan’s Forest Tree House Wedding In Kansas

Fall weddings have such a unique, special vibe, and Taylor and Ryan’s big day was no
exception. This early fall celebration was tucked away at Pulliam Cattle Co. in Mulvane, KS. The
fall colors hadn’t quite set in yet, which filled their gallery with natural greens that complemented
their wedding colors beautifully. They took a clean, classic vibe and immersed it in the most
PERFECT rustic, forest wedding.

Taylor took the word “timeless” to a new level by wearing her mom’s dress, which was simple yet absolutely stunning, with the bonus of sentimental value. Ryan balanced his bride’s look in an all-black suit and tie, pulling his look together with a crisp white shirt. These two made the perfect statement, while also leaving room for the natural colors of the season to shine. Their florals tied everything together with stunning simplicity, from white blooms to unique greenery.

Taylor and Ryan experienced no shortage of love on their wedding day, with joy surrounding them from their wedding party and guests. With their wedding party being quite large, we were able to have a lot of fun with their posing, including throwing Ryan in the air! I mean, if you can’t raise the roof at your outdoor wedding, you might as well raise the groom.

Not only did they have fun with their pictures, but they also had some entertainment to start their
ceremony. One of my favorite moments was when Taylor’s brothers came down the aisle as the
designated ‘Flower Bros.’

Their wedding party flowed down the aisle so beautifully, with the sage bridesmaids’ dresses creating a perfect monochromatic look. Taylor emerged from a glass treehouse, down a gorgeous wooden staircase, and down the aisle, all while Ryan waited for her with love and excitement for their new journey. Every word spoken during their ceremony was so intentional and genuine; their officiant did such a wonderful job bringing warm, authentic words to their day.

The details of this wedding were so special, and I absolutely LOVED them. Taylor was able to bring in so many sentimental aspects that go beyond wearing her mom’s dress, and she did this throughout their ceremony and reception. Taylor is actually an elementary school teacher, and she was able to bring elements from her class to their wedding. Her students filled out pieces of paper that began with “Love is…” and they were used as part of the couple’s centerpieces.

One of my favorite trends this year has been brides opting out of a traditional bouquet toss and leaning towards something more meaningful to them, a bouquet dedication to a special woman in their lives. With the sentiment that was clearly poured into this day, this was such a beautiful moment to capture! Taylor dedicated her bouquet to her mom, which was followed by a sweet dance between the two of them.

Taylor and Ryan had such a fun wedding, full of wonderful moments and love from everyone
around them. Not only was it a sweet ceremony, but also a reception that held meaningful
moments and endless dancing. This wedding was a joy to photograph. I loved being able tocapture these lifelong memories between Taylor and Ryan, as well as their amazing friends and
family.
